The old vines are very much in evidence as there is a true abundance of palate soaking dry extract that imparts a velvety mouth feel to the mid-palate and buffers the very firm tannins on the youthfully austere
but it doesn’t have the same depth as previous vintages
There is very good size
The mouthfeel of the medium weight flavors is very Beaune in style with its plump
but the style of the wine did not thrill me
