Shinchu Fuchkashira Signed "Rinsendo" with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu - Dragon Among Clouds Size: 85 mm x 80

Size: 85 mm x 80 mm x 4 mm

This tsuka and saya are rather simple in design

Shakudo menuki with prying bird and tree branches

Based on the  examination of this piece I would say It was made by one of the last generations

Tsuba with iron fuchikashira decorated with gilded inlaid copper

Shinchu Fuchkashira Signed "Rinsendo" with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu - Dragon Among Clouds Size: 85 mm x 80Fuchikashira signed "Rinsendo" with NBTHK Hozon Tosogu. Most famous craftsman using this go was Rinsendo Mitsumasa born in the 1721. However I have checked this signature against Mitsumasa piece I own and other available sources and it is written in a different way. Therefore I suspect that this piece could have been made by his adopted son who signed "Rinsendo Mitsuo". Unfortunately I was not able to find any examples of his signature for comparison.
