I took away the lamp post on the left as I felt it was distracting and also made the building slightly more brownish and textured to bring out the character of the building

One of the things I saw from my trip to China was this old and abandoned electric box on a peeling wall. The shapes, colors, shadows and textures all made a very interesting composition and this painting was done to replicate the inherent design that I cropped out of a real life photo. The result is a visually stimulating piece with very strong visual elements of texture, shape and design. As can be
