Wilhelm Kage Plate "Argenta" Gustavsberg Sweden 1940s. Signed Depth : 70 cm -Wilhelm Kge, plate "Argenta" Gustavsberg, marked Argenta 1609. Decor of a winged griffon in silver against a green background. Diameter approximately : 21 cm Height : 5 cm. Good vintage condition. Wilhelm Kge was a Swedish artist and ceramicist. Kge is known for his ceramics for the Gustavsberg porcelain factory, where he was the artistic director from 1917 to 1949. Kge studied from 1910 under Carl Wilhelmson at the Valand Academy of Art in Gothenburg
